5 February 2020 - Mikrotron GmbH announced the product launch of its EoSens® 2.0CXP2 high-speed camera.

The EoSens® 2.0CXP2 delivers full resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixel at up to 2,220 fps with a new CoaXPress 2.0 interface and 18,100 fps at 128 x 128 pixel. The pixel size is 10 µm square and the optical format 4/3”.

The EoSens® 2.0CXP2 is the first CoaXPress Standard 2.0 of the EoSens® generation. This CoaXPress Standard 2.0 offers several new functions and is also backwards compatible with CoaXPress.

With four CXP-12 connections, the CoaXPress 2.0 link is able to support a data transfer rate of up to 12.5 GBit/s per channel. Equipped with a high-speed CMOS sensor, the EoSens® 2.0CXP2 offers full 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution at an outstanding speed of 2,220 fps.

The user of the camera can decide whether to activate 1, 2 or 4 channels of the interface. This unique feature leads to more cost-effective applications with less cabling and reduced track support on the framegrabber side.
