MONTREAL — Sept. 23, 2014 — At Vision 2014 (Messe Stuttgart, Nov. 4–6, stand 1F21), Matrox Imaging will feature live demonstrations for all product lines including Matrox Design Assistant 4 and Matrox Imaging Library vision software, the 4Sight GPm family of industrial imaging computers and the Radient series of frame grabbers.

Matrox Design Assistant 4 (DA 4) is the first hardware-independent integrated development environment (IDE) that lets users easily create an application flowchart and HMI and take projects from concept to completion in record time, without the need for conventional programming. It not only works with Matrox Iris GT smart cameras but also any PC with GigE Vision® or USB3 Vision™ cameras.

Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) has been the core software product for over 20 years. It provides a complete set of tools for the entire process of imaging application development including feasibility testing, prototyping, application creation and deployment. At Vision 2014, enhancements to MIL will be demonstrated including improvements for 3D profiling applications.

Matrox 4Sight GPm industrial computers feature a unique combination of embedded PC technology, compact size and ruggedness making them the ideal solutions for cost-sensitive image analysis, machine vision and medical imaging applications.

Matrox Imaging provides the industry's most comprehensive frame grabber line-up ranging from boards designed for very cost-sensitive applications to those integrating flexible, high-rate acquisition and pre-processing capabilities. New cards in the Radient eV-Series will be launched at Vision 2014. Matrox Radient eV-CLHS, featuring support for the new Camera Link HS™ interface, and Radient eV-CL, featuring support for the Camera Link® interface, will be added to the current offering that supports the CoaXPress (CXP) interface.
