The Talysurf i-Series is a high accuracy instrument designed specifically for the evaluation of roughness and waviness. The system's large gauge range and high resolution, coupled with low noise axes, ensure repeatability and measurement integrity.
Superior gauging
Fully automatic and programmable the Talysurf i-Series is designed to give the best roughness and waviness capability. With 1000um gauge range, 0.16nm resolution and less than 8nm Rq noise, the Talysurf i-Series provides superior repeatability and reproducibility of any surface.
Fast Gauge calibration
A fast and traceable step height calibration is performed automatically by the system. This quick and easy method gives feedback of tip condition which cannot be obtained with simple roughness patch calibration, giving the operator higher confidence in subsequent component measurements.
Form Optimization
Standard with the Talysurf i-Series is form optimization, using LS Line, Polynomial or Spline form removal, these simple algorithms removes form and allows roughness and waviness to be analyzed over flat, curved and complicated surfaces.
Q-Link Production Interface
The Talysurf i-Series instruments are also available with Q-Link. This simple production interface allows easy operation of the instrument in shop floor environments giving pass/fail feedback and automatic electronic reporting. Q-Link is accredited for use with Q-DAS SPC software packages.>
