North American vision systems designers eager to learn more about JAI's exciting new product offering will get an excellent opportunity to do so at the Automate 2013 exhibition January 21-24 in Chicago, IL. The exhibition, which is being held at McCormick Place in Chicago, will provide vistors with an assortment of live demonstrations highlighting several of the newest additions to JAI's product family.

The center of attention is expected to be the new SP-5000M-CX2, a high-speed 5-megapixel CMOS camera belonging to JAI's new Spark Series. With its advanced imager and CoaXPress x2 interface, this camera is capable of operating at up to 209 frames per second at full 5-megapixel resolution. It will be featured in a live demo showing off both its speed and its high level of pixel detail suitable for a wide range of inspection applications.

The JAI exhibit will have several other Spark Series models on display, as well as the new EL-2800, the first new camera in JAI's Elite Series of high fidelity cameras for microscopy, life sciences, and other applications demanding the highest possible image quality.

As noted during their debut at VISION 2012 in Stuttgart, each of the Spark and Elite Series cameras will be available with a variety of interface options including Mini Camera Link, Power over Mini CL, CoaXPress, USB Vision, GigE Vision (with Link Aggreagation), and Power over GigE Vision. Specific combinations will vary depending on the camera model.

In addition, JAI's exhibit at Automate will include a live demonstration of the new AT-030MCL camera. This 3-CCD color camera is part of the company's newly designated Apex Series of prism-based color cameras, and is designed for companies that need both the precise color information made possible by 3-CCD technology, and a 120 fps rate suitable for high-speed, automated color sorting or print inspection.

Additional live demonstrations will showcase JAI's AD-080 and AD-130 2-CCD multi-spectral area scan cameras, and the LQ-200CL 4-CCD multi-spectral line scan camera. There will also be a display featuring one of the first units from the new Sweep Series of high-speed, high sensitivity monochrome line scan cameras developed by JAI's TVI Vision group.

Individuals traveling to the Automate Show can visit JAI in booth number 839.
